This is my entry for the art water competition. I had to redesign it several times before I was happy with it. The design was based on a butterfly koi which is why the dragon looks "fish-like" I had to redraw this so many times that I didn't think I was going to get it done in time. Just barely got it finished in time. Unfortunately the camera distorted the picture as usual. The real drawing looks better. I used watercolor paint, acrylic paint and colored pencil on watercolor paper.

sorry, forgot to change the opacity back on that last layer.... That's why the dragon on the sideview looks faded. Too late to fix it now though. :(

Your Water Dragon looks fantastic :wow: and you've drawn the scales beautifully!! It's very unique, and the fish-like dragon is just perfect for the art water label! Thank you for sharing it with me... and good luck with the contest!!

I think it looks fantastic! Hey, I really like the design you did for the lettering as well as the dragon itself. All the little details with the scales and so on. I like how you got all these different shades of blue going on with the color. It's really easy on the eyes. Great work as always!:D

thanks as always. I limited myself to only blues, greens, and purples. I didn't allow myself to use any other colors.
